Job summary

Fox Valley Orthopedic in Elgin, IL is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform quality diagnostic x-rays in our orthopedic clinic. You will travel to multiple site locations (Elgin, Algonquin, Barrington & Geneva) as needed, with evenings and rotating Saturdays.

Applicants must be AMA-approved radiologic technology graduates, ARRT(R) certified, hold an Illinois Radiographer license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Illinois State Medical Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 1+ year clinic imaging experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to multiple site locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality x-rays in an orthopedic clinic setting.
• Ensure image quality and adjust positioning/parameters for diagnostic results.
• Communicate with patients to complete exams efficiently.

Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment TB and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment TB and drug screen, background check, and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
