Responsibilities

• Provides medical services and clinical education to patients in a clinic setting.
• Provides medical care and treatment to existing patients.

• Assists physicians with prescriptions and refills.
• Communicates test results to patients promptly.
• Assists with Worker’s Compensation forms and related correspondence.
• Participates in on-call duties as needed.
• Participates in department meetings and mandatory educational programs.
• Follows departmental policies and guidelines.

This position will support treatment within our Orthopedic Clinics.Locations: Geneva & Elgin, IllinoisStatus: Full-Time/ExemptExpected Starting Pay: $103,000 - $150, 000/year (based on experience)Essential Job FunctionsProvides medical services and clinical education to patients in a clinic setting.Provides medical care and treatment to existing patients.Promotes the professional practice of the clinic by maintaining and improving rapport with peers, patients, and the medical community.Responsible for dictating medical findings on patients in a timely and concise manner.Assists physicians in writing new prescriptions and prescription refills Communicates test results to patients in a timely manner Assists physicians in the completion of Worker’s Compensation forms, dictation of attorney letters, and other responsibilities as requested.Assists with on-call duties as needed.Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements such as OSHA.Participate in performance improvement activities.Attend and participate in department meetings.Attend mandatory educational programs.Follow established guidelines as stated in departmental policies and procedures.Must be able to pass background check.
