Job summary

The Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a CY program assistant to support children and youth in a DoD child care setting. You will assist with curriculum, supervision, and daily activities, ensuring safety and engagement while following approved guidance.

Responsibilities include preparing indoor/outdoor spaces, communicating with parents, and documenting development. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma, and complete required background checks and DoD

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and activity plans and implements activities.
• Prepares and maintains indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials.
• Supervises children and youth during activities and field trips.
• Communicates with parents and employees about program activities and progress.
