Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months industry experience.
• Must have at least 6 months DOT cylinder filling experience.
• Ability to perform very heavy work – lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally 76 lbs.
• Prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion required.
• Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and all written communications.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders.
• Perform pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests before cylinders are released.
• Ensure cylinders are maintained and removed from service if needed.
• Regularly inspect pumping apparatus, pressure gauges and monitoring devices.
• Fill cylinders to proper pressure or weight and maintain filling records.
• Promptly report any accidents or injuries to management.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and inventory tasks.
