Job summary

Airgas in Spokane, WA is hiring a Production Operator I to contribute to loading and unloading cylinders and supporting the production flow. You will move cylinders, operate a forklift, and help maintain a safe, organized plant area while following company policies and safety guidelines.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work outdoors in wide temperature ranges, and reliable attendance. Training is provided with benefits starting after 30 days and competitive pay plus

Qualifications

• Must work with a variety of people from different backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime to meet production schedules.
• Must operate in a drug-free workplace.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures from -10 to 110 degrees.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and occasionally 76 to >100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cylinders from inbound/outbound vehicles.
• Move cylinders as directed by team and leadership.
• Operate forklift and other equipment to support material flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned area.
• Attend work regularly and on time.
• Report cylinder shortages or discrepancies to leadership.
