Airgas USA, LLC in Allentown, PA is seeking a Production Associate (Cylinder Loader). You will safely operate equipment for handling and producing gas cylinders, load/unload on trucks, and ensure proper labeling and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing high pressure and cryogenic cylinders for filling, performing routine safety checks, and maintaining paperwork per DOT, FDA, OSHA and Airgas standards. Prior mechanical aptitude a plus.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position's responsibilities.
• A minimum of 1 year of related technical experience.
• In lieu of specific industry experience, may accept an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Operate equipment for the handling and production of gas cylinders.
• Load and unload cylinders onto route trucks and trailers; move cylinders with carts.
• Sort empty cylinders by type; read cylinder labels and color codes for contents.
• Roll cylinders and operate a forklift to move cylinders on pallets.
• Prepare high pressure and cryogenic cylinders for filling; attach to manifold.
• Conduct safety checks and maintain paperwork per DOT, FDA, OSHA and Airgas standards.
