Airgas Davenport is seeking a Plant Operator (Cylinder Loader/Filler) to safely fill and handle gas products, meeting safety standards and Airgas procedures. You will operate forklifts and support loading/unloading cylinders, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and compliance with OSHA and safety rules.
• Minimum of 1 year of related technical experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and fill gas products into liquid, medical and high-pressure cylinders in compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Operate control panels, valves, gauges and scales with precision.
• Complete records of all production actions and ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Load/unload cylinders and ensure proper securing during transport.
