Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 3+ years in appliance or consumer goods engineering.
• Experience solving engineering problems and delivering cycle designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop wash system algorithms, logic and cycle design for residential and commercial washers.
• Optimize appliance performance through module development and parameterization.
• Support technology roadmaps, focusing on complexity reduction, attributes, cost and quality.
• Characterize module parameters to meet system-level attribute requirements.
• Understand washer physics and thermal/mechanical/chemical dynamics.
• Support new product design from concept to production development.
• Develop concepts and use FMEA, DVP and risk management tools for performance decisions.
• Improve test methodologies and plans for verification and validation.
• Support marketing claims development and regulatory compliance for NAR and other markets.
• Translate Voice of the Customer into engineering requirements.
