Job summary

ALCOM in DeLand, FL is seeking a Cycle Counter to support our inventory control efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This full-time, on-site role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

You will investigate discrepancies, monitor safety stock, and help implement process improvements. Forklift certification is a plus, and experience with MRP systems is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in inventory control or cycle counting.
• MRP system experience preferred (but not required).
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
• Monitor safety stock and material consumption using reporting tools.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency in material handling and storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and production area.
• Assist with forklift operations or stockroom duties as needed.
