Job summary

ALCOM in Winslow, ME is seeking a Cycle Counter/Inventory Control associate to perform daily cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory. You will investigate discrepancies, monitor safety stock, and support material handling and storage improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in inventory control or cycle counting.
• MRP system experience preferred (but not required).
• Forklift certification is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.
• Monitor safety stock and material consumption using reporting tools.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency in material handling and storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and production area.
• Assist with forklift operations or stockroom duties as needed.
