Job summary

ALCOM is seeking a Cycle Counter in DeLand, FL for a full-time, manual-labor role in our warehouse and production area. The position focuses on maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts and supporting overall operations.

The role involves investigating discrepancies, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with forklift operations, with opportunities for growth within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in inventory control or cycle counting.
• MRP system experience preferred (but not required).
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.
• Monitor safety stock and material consumption using reporting tools.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency in material handling and storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and production area.
• Assist with forklift operations or stockroom duties as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Comfortable with basic math, tape measures, and weight scales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
