Job summary

Dover Corp in Conover, NC, is seeking a Cycle Counter for our manufacturing facility. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with overtime as needed to support production targets and inventory accuracy.

You will perform physical counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain records in the inventory system. Responsibilities include identifying root causes, updating systems, and communicating with production and inventory teams to prevent recurring errors.

Job description

This position is based in our Conover manufacturing facility and the typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30a to 4pm. Requires ability to work overtime as needed.

SCOPE:

The Cycle Counter is responsible for accurately counting and tracking inventory within the warehouse. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Responsibilities include conducting physical counts of stock, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records in the inventory system. The Cycle Counter must also possess good communication skills to coordinate with production and inventory management personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cycle count materials which will be monitored by the Inventory Control Analyst and/or Sr Director of Supply Chain


• Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports


• Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors


• Assist in updating systems with accurate information


• Follow all safety rules and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs


• Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk and reach daily


• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment


• Basic PC and software knowledge
