Job summary

nVent's Warwick, RI facility seeks a warehouse associate to support inventory accuracy and materials handling in a fast-paced environment. You will perform shipping, receiving, picking, and loading operations while maintaining precise records in JD Edwards and updating daily metrics.

You will count, review discrepancies, and drive corrective actions. The role includes training staff, promoting safety, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in manufacturing materials or warehousing roles.
• Forklift experience required (sit-down, stock picker, turret, walkie).
• Knowledge of material flow processes and safety policies.
• Able to promote compliance and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading per SOP and MOP.
• Enter data and update inventory records in JD Edwards and daily metrics.
• Lead cycle counts and investigate discrepancies; suggest corrective actions.
• Train staff on cycle counting and support continuous improvement.
• Operate equipment and maintain it, including routine inspections.
