The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and problem-solving to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies. You will count, record, and analyze inventory, operate RF scanners and forklifts, and collaborate across teams to improve inventory practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of solid performance in manufacturing materials positions.
• Forklift experience required, including sit-down, stock picker, turret, and walkie lifts.
• Knowledge of material flow processes and safety policies/procedures with the ability to promote compliance.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes of inventory errors and recommend corrective actions.
• Computer skills including Windows, Word and Excel, JD Edwards, and Internet navigation; data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties following SOPs and MOPs.
• Complete inventory transactions to maintain accurate records and balances.
• Operate warehouse equipment including sit-down forklift, stock picker, and RF scanners.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintain warehouse equipment in good condition.
• Support the cycle count program by generating daily material count lists, counting physically, analyzing discrepancies, and updating records in JD Edwards.

Our client, an electrical connection and protection solutions organization, is seeking a Cycle Counter Material Handler to join their team. As a Cycle Counter Material Handler, you will be part of the manufacturing operations support team, helping drive inventory accuracy and reliable material flow. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to analyze discrepancies to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Job Title: Cycle Counter Material Handler

Location: Warwick, RI

Pay Range: $21

Shift: 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Machine Operating Procedures (MOP).
• Complete inventory transactions to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
• Operate warehouse equipment including sit-down forklift, stock picker, and RF scanners.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintain warehouse equipment in good working condition.
• Support the cycle count program by generating daily material count lists, performing physical counts, analyzing discrepancies, and updating inventory records in JD Edwards.
