Job summary

Join nVent as a Manufacturing Material Handler in Warwick, RI. You will perform shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading to support production schedules and inventory accuracy.

You will operate sit-down forklifts, stock pickers, and RF scanners, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following all SOPs/MOPs. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a warehouse, forklift/stock picker experience, and proficiency with Excel, JD Edwards, and shipping software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience required or preferred.
• 2+ years of forklift and stock picker experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer software: Excel, Word, Outlook, JD Edwards.
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes (UPS WorldShip, FedEx, Ship Manager, LTL).
• Ability to operate equipment (forklifts, RF scanner, stock picker, shrink wrapper, etc.).
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures; promotes compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading per SOP/MOP.
• Process transactions to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
