Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking a Cycle Count Associate to maintain accurate inventory records through routine counts, system verification, and discrepancy investigations.

This onsite role collaborates with Inventory Control Supervisors and multiple departments to ensure material control across the facility. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong math and data-entry skills, and the ability to learn ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory management and/or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies accurately.
• Basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read and understand written work instructions, inventory documentation, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently while also communicating effectively with team members and other departments.
• Must be dependable and able to consistently follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and routine cycle counts of raw materials, components, finished goods, and other inventory.
• Compare physical inventory quantities to inventory system records and identify discrepancies.
• Research and investigate inventory variances to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Accurately record count results and complete required inventory adjustments in the system.
• Verify proper identification, labeling, storage, and location of materials.
• Conduct recounts and follow up on discrepancies as directed by the Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Assist with periodic physical inventories and other inventory audits as needed.
• Monitor inventory locations and report misplaced, damaged, or improperly stored materials.
• Work with Warehouse, Production, Materials, and other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory records and documentation.
• Follow all company safety, quality, environmental, and inventory control procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to inventory accuracy, material flow, and control.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Supervisor.
