Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in New Bedford, MA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate inventory records and manage cycle counts across the warehouse. You will use a Warehouse Management System, coordinate counts, receive shipments, and operate forklifts while maintaining safety and data integrity.

Excellent math, reading, communication and problem solving/analytical skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records.
Assist in perpetual inventory development and cycle counts.
Coordinate cycle counts as scheduled.
Ensure proper labeling and units of measure.
Train personnel on processes to ensure compliance.
Receive deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
Run reports and analyze inventory control data.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
