Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a detail-oriented inventory control specialist to maintain accurate records and support perpetual inventory. You will coordinate cycle counts, oversee labeling and units of measure, and train staff in essential processes.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, verifying PO specs, generating reports, and analyzing inventory metrics. Proficiency with WMS (Canopy) and Microsoft Office is expected; forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong math, reading, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• WMS experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist in development and implementation of perpetual inventory.
• Coordinate cycle counts as scheduled.
• Ensure proper labeling and units of measure.
• Train personnel in required processes.
• Complete physical inventory as scheduled or upon request.
• Compile reports and analyze inventory control results.
• Learn Canopy system and generate needed reports.
• Perform weekly cycle counts of inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Receive deliveries and verify against PO specs; document items received.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
