Job summary

NPI is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to maintain accuracy and control of inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in our manufacturing environment. You will lead the cycle counting program, reconcile ERP records, and drive root cause analysis to improve inventory performance.

Responsibilities include executing daily cycle counts, updating ERP, auditing transactions, and collaborating with Production, Purchasing, and Accounting to resolve inventory issues, ensuring materials are

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience with ERP systems and inventory management processes (cycle counting, transactions, reconciliation).
Understanding of manufacturing material flow, including WIP and production consumption methods (e.g., backflushing).

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy across all categories (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
Enter, validate, and post cycle count results in the ERP system and reconcile discrepancies.
Investigate root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.
Monitor and report cycle count accuracy metrics and trends, driving continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and ensure timely transactions.
