Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT field with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Experience in IT disciplines such as Data Networking, Application Development, Platform OS, Database, Data Analytics or Information Security.
• Understanding of hardware configurations and software concepts in current and future technologies.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation software.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Mentor with experienced technology staff to develop in-depth technical skills in Cybersecurity.
• Contribute to projects involving cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, automation, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Complete rotations across cybersecurity disciplines to gain broader understanding and how they work together to deliver solutions.
• Determine post-program assignment through career path design and assessments.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology related field

Minimum GPA 3.0

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Analytical and troubleshooting skills

Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation software
