Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated experience with an Information Technology discipline such as Data Networking, Application Development, Platform Operating Systems, Database, Data Analytics or Information Security.
• Understanding of hardware configurations and software concepts in the current and future tech environment.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven influencing skills and collaboration focus.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation software.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Ceremonies.
• Work Visa Sponsorship not offered for this role.
• Intermediate to advanced programming skills in one or more pertinent languages (preferred).
• Minimum GPA 3.2 (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Mentor with experienced technology staff to develop in-depth technical skills.
• Complete rotations across multiple technical disciplines to broaden understanding.
• Determine post-program assignment through career path design and performance assessments.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls.
• Identify risk-related issues and escalate to management.
• Promote an environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
