Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is launching a two-year Technology Development Program in Cybersecurity, offering hands-on rotations across multiple teams to build technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership potential in a security-focused career.

Participants will gain exposure to data networking, application security, and platform security, mentored by experienced staff and guided toward a core cybersecurity specialization post-program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology related field and minimum GPA 3.0.
• Demonstrated experience with IT disciplines such as data networking, application development, platform operating systems, database, data analytics or information security.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven influencing ability.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ceremonies; team collaboration.
• Work Visa Sponsorship not offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a rotational training program across cybersecurity disciplines.
• Mentor with experienced technology staff to develop technical skills.
• Complete rotations to gain broader understanding of cybersecurity functions.
• Determine post-program assignment in core areas through career path design and assessment.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards and internal controls; escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment aligned with the M&T Bank brand.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
