Job summary

Northrop Grumman, located in Melbourne, FL, is seeking interns to join the Weapon Systems Cybersecurity SSE team. This on-site program focuses on cybersecurity assessments, drafting process materials, peer reviews, and analytics support.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time in STEM programs through Aug 2027, with majors in cybersecurity, CS, or systems engineering, and have the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program and graduating after August 2027.
• Majoring in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other related STEM field.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
• Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite).

Responsibilities

• Participate in cybersecurity execution capability assessments.
• Assist in drafting cybersecurity process and training material for use by the sector and the WSC team.
• Participate in peer reviews for sector and internal process.
• Participate in communication activities including document development, stakeholder meetings, and briefings.
• Support data analytics by gathering metrics and working with visualizations.
