Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineering Interns to join the Defense Systems Intern Program in Melbourne, FL. The role supports the development and testing of systems used in national defense, working from engineering drawings and formal instructions. Candidates must be enrolled full-time in a STEM degree and be able to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a STEM field.
Be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
