Job summary

VLCM in Murray, UT is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design and architect security solutions for enterprise clients. You will deliver on-site and remote pre-sales consulting, position and demonstrate security offerings, and support clients throughout their security journey.

This role collaborates with sales, creates BOM and SOW, and responds to RFIs/RFPs while pursuing certifications and maintaining client documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Six+ years of professional experience in IT security.
Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel as required.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assess, design, and architect security solutions for clients based on VLCM's proven security solution set.
Communicate technical capabilities of proposed solutions based on customer requirements.
Assist customers with Proof of Concept (POC) of proposed solutions.
Work with sales to provide pre-sales updates and reports on project status.
Create BOM and a detailed SOW for qualified opportunities.
Respond to RFI/RFPs.
Provide up-to-date documentation for projects.
Present security concepts and design security solutions to clients.
Complete partner and vendor certifications, as required.
