Job summary

Adaptive Security, Inc. in New York City seeks a Solutions Consultant to be the technical backbone of our pre-sales process. You’ll work with Account Executives to answer questions, run proof-of-concept evaluations, and serve as the trusted technical voice throughout the deal cycle.

You will move between technical conversations and hands-on prospect support, shaping how a fast-growing cybersecurity company sells to its most sophisticated buyers, with ownership from first call to close.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in Solutions Consulting or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong technical fluency to speak credibly to security, IT, and technical buyers.
• Experience running structured evaluations (POCs) and managing timelines.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run proof-of-concept evaluations for prospects and provide hands-on technical support.
• Serve as technical liaison between prospects and Engineering/Product teams; surface requirements and feedback.
• Conduct technical calls with prospects not running a POC.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Leadership to improve the prospect experience and processes.
• Aim to exceed prospect expectations in response quality and timeliness.
