CyberCYBERSECURITY PROJECT MANAGER

This is a remote position based in the United States. Must be a US Citizen.

We are seeking a junior project manager to join our Cybersecurity Program Management Office (PMO). You will work with other project managers to facilitate end-to-end cross-functional project management support for various Cybersecurity teams and be responsible for managing their agile ceremonies. This role involves interacting with internal customers from multiple departments, as well as vendors and consultants.

What Will I Be Doing:

• Collaborate with the lead project manager to execute cross-functional and cross-organizational project activities, partnering with technical leads and business stakeholders.
• Serve as the Scrum master for cybersecurity teams, supporting them throughout the agile lifecycle.
• Manage planning and execution of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure clarity on project status and expectations.
• Organize project teams to drive results and address challenges.
• Track project status, metrics, and risks; report findings and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements through project reviews and lessons learned.
• Plan schedules and prioritize activities to achieve objectives.
• Engage with all levels of staff, including senior management, during project coordination.

• 1-2 years of project management experience, preferably in an agile environment with technical teams.
• Experience with Jira, Jira Cloud, and Confluence for agile project management.
• Self-motivated with resilience to overcome obstacles and deliver results.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to convey key project information effectively.
• Basic understanding of project management lifecycle, principles, and best practices.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in Cybersecurity.
• Educational background in Cybersecurity-related fields.

Benefits and compensation vary based on location and employment type. The role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, and equity participation. Salary ranges for US-based employees are estimated at (min-mid-max, USD): $53,100 - $75,900 - $98,700. Salaries for other locations are competitive and based on local market conditions.
