Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manager, Cybersecurity Program Operations to lead a team of PM professionals and oversee the operational functions of cybersecurity programs. You will drive portfolio governance, budgeting, and strategic planning, coordinating with Deputy CISO level leaders.

The role emphasizes coordination across vendors, internal stakeholders, and external consultants, with a focus on execution, reporting, and continuous improvement in a large global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience leading PMOs.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor relations, and financial planning.
• Proven ability to lead PMOs, portfolio management offices, or governance functions.
• Experience with information security risk management and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio management activities and executive reporting for Cybersecurity programs.
• Maintain visibility into the portfolio, including status, budget, risks, and outcomes.
• Partner with Cybersecurity leaders on strategic planning, operating plans, and vendor management.
• Coach and develop a team of project and program managers, including external consultants.
• Ensure contracts are evaluated, negotiated, and aligned with organizational priorities.
