Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manager, Cybersecurity Program Operations to lead a team of PM professionals and oversee operational functions of Cybersecurity programs.

The role includes portfolio management, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and strategic planning with Deputy CISO level oversight. The position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to translate complex security initiatives into executive-ready updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/engineering/business administration or related field.
• Experience managing organizational budgets, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and financial planning activities.
• Experience leading a PMO, portfolio management office, business operations function, or similar governance organization.
• Understanding of information security and the relationship between threat, vulnerability, and information value in the context of risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio management activities for Deputy CISO level organizations, including investment prioritization and executive reporting.
• Develop and maintain visibility into the Cybersecurity portfolio, including project status and budget performance.
• Partner with Cybersecurity leaders to support strategic planning and execution tracking.
• Lead a team of project and program managers and external contractors across governance and operations.
