Job summary

NGO-ISAC is seeking a senior leader to build and run its cybersecurity programs and sector engagement, shaping threat intelligence sharing and collective defense. The role sets direction, develops resources to raise member security maturity, and represents NGO-ISAC with government, industry, and the wider cybersecurity community.

This is a senior role with ownership and budget accountability, suitable for an expert who collaborates well, values others' knowledge, and remains open to feedback.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or information security.
• Experience in collaborative security settings such as ISACs, government partnerships, nonprofits, or multi-organization efforts.
• A track record of turning security expertise into working programs or services.
• Strong grasp of the current threat environment.
• Experience coordinating security work across multiple organizations.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop security initiatives and programs tailored to how nonprofits operate and their resources.
• Design scalable programs such as security assessments, resilience guidance, and training.
• Develop and deliver member training (phishing simulations, incident-response drills for non-technical staff).
• Identify emerging threats to civil society and proactively address them.
• Produce practical tools and resources that raise sector security maturity.
