Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to deliver strategic cybersecurity initiatives that strengthen our security posture and enable business objectives.

You will anchor projects within key domains and partner with cybersecurity leaders, architects, engineers, product teams, vendors, and executives to drive outcomes. The role emphasizes translating strategy into execution, managing risks and dependencies, and delivering initiatives with transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 2–5 years leading technology or cybersecurity projects.
• Experience coordinating multi-team initiatives and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience in domains such as Identity Security, Security Operations, Cloud Security, or Governance.
• Strong planning, risk, and stakeholder governance skills.
• Experience creating executive-level status reports.
• Ability to influence stakeholders in matrixed orgs.
• Experience with project financials, budgets, and vendor engagements.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• Ability to operate in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation and transition.
• Develop integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• Coordinate delivery across cybersecurity teams, technology groups, and vendors.
• Drive alignment with strategy, capability roadmaps, and organizational priorities.
