The role leads the Security Engineering team, drives risk assessment, incident response, and digital forensics while coordinating with leadership on security posture and regulatory reporting.

The position emphasizes secure-by-design practices, lifecycle management of security tools, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to embed security in IT projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years in a related area; 11+ years if no degree.
• Strong cybersecurity principles and network architectures.
• Experience with risk assessment, incident response, and digital forensics.
• Knowledge of systems security standards (NISPOM, RMF, JSIG, NIST).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Engineering team, set priorities, and manage resources.
• Oversee secure design, testing, and implementation of OS, networks, and monitoring tools.
• Direct risk, vulnerability assessment, and remediation programs.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Security Architect to translate strategy into engineering plans.
• Communicate risk posture and program status to senior leadership.
