Job summary

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Local Business Partner and leader in process automation, seeks a Cybersecurity Lead (IT/OT) to join our Technology Team in Schaumburg, Illinois. This senior role will set the cybersecurity strategy across IT and OT, manage risk, and shape security standards for our enterprise systems and customers.

You will work with IT, OT, engineering, operations, and external partners to drive risk-based decisions, coordinate incident response, and ensure controls are scalable and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• Eight or more years of progressive cybersecurity experience.
• Experience leading significant cybersecurity initiatives across teams.
• Experience with OT/ICS environments and industrial controls.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82, or ISA/IEC 62443.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for the cybersecurity program across IT and OT environments.
• Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and architecture.
• Assess risks, drive remediation, and coordinate controls and ownership.
• Coordinate incident response and improve plans with lessons learned.
• Oversee third‑party security assessments and audits.
