Job summary

Novaspect, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Lead (IT/OT) to advance the company’s cybersecurity program across IT and OT environments from our Schaumburg, IL location.

You will set strategy, manage risk, and establish security standards while protecting systems, data, operations, and customers. The role is hands-on for an experienced professional who combines technical depth with strategic thinking, business acumen, and risk-based decision-making.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive cybersecurity experience across security engineering, architecture, operations, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading significant cybersecurity initiatives and governance programs across multiple teams.
• Experience with OT/ICS environments and enterprise/industrial cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for the cybersecurity program across IT and OT, aligning with business needs and risks.
• Establish policies, standards, and secure design practices across enterprise IT, OT, cloud, and data platforms.
• Assess risks, coordinate remediation and compensating controls, and manage risk ownership.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance during incidents and coordinate cross-functional responses.
• Oversee third‑party risk, assessments, audits, and security reviews with external partners.
• Lead awareness programs, phishing simulations, and role‑based training.
• Monitor cybersecurity posture and report to Technology leadership.
