OT Cybersecurity Network Leader — Plant Governance

Job summary

Nemak seeks a strategic OT cybersecurity and governance leader to unify IT/OT security, drive continuity planning, and boost plant-floor resilience. You will guide plant sites on Purdue/ISA-IEC 62443 alignment, oversee business continuity playbooks, and ensure secure, logged remote access with least-privilege controls.

You will lead and mentor OT specialists across the United States and Mexico, coordinating cross-functional incident response and strengthening critical production systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, mechatronics or related field.
• 5+ years in IT operations and OT governance with shop-floor experience preferred.
• 5+ years in leading and developing technical teams.
• Extensive knowledge of Purdue Model, ISA/IEC 62443, OT network segmentation.
• Proficiency with modern switching, firewalls and OT protocols.
• ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert certification is required.
• CCNP or equivalent and GICSP certifications helpful.
• Strong English communication; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Govern secure interconnection between OT and IT to ensure plant availability.
• Advise sites to align control networks with ISA/IEC 62443 and Purdue Model.
• Lead OT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery playbooks.
• Audit network segmentation and maintain topology maps showing micro-segmentation.
• Act as technical authority for industrial switches, firewalls and security platforms.
• Develop OT asset inventory, vulnerability management and risk assessments.
• Manage OT vendors and system integrators with least-privilege access controls.
• Coordinate cross-functional incident response across maintenance, operations and security teams.
• Lead and develop OT specialists across the US and Mexico with guidance and tools.
