Job summary

Southwest Power Pool invites a Summer 2027 IT Cybersecurity Internship – Security Analyst to gain hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining security architecture for IT systems. You will work with IT subject-matter experts to design, implement, and support cybersecurity controls and solutions.

You will collaborate with internal staff, manage security tools, and assist with monitoring, assessments, and compliance initiatives while rotating through IT departments in a hybrid internship.

Qualifications

• College student entering their senior year pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, IT systems, and technology solutions.
