Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Network Analyst intern to support data center infrastructure and collaborate with IT teams this summer (May–August 2027). This paid, full-time hybrid role provides hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and telecom systems.

You will report to the Network Services Manager and gain exposure to network operations, documentation, and cross-team coordination in a real-world energy technology environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Understanding of networking concepts, data center operations, and telecom infrastructure.
• Experience in Networking or Firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Support data center operations, including server installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in telecom infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient and secure communication systems.
• Help with cable management and organization within the data center.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of infrastructure components.
• Document processes, configurations, and changes to maintain accurate records.
