Job summary

LP Building Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern based in Nashville, TN, for a paid, full-time internship during summer 2025. This role involves supporting the IT Security team with hands-on experience in areas such as vulnerability assessments and incident response.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related fields, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This hybrid position will require working both at home and in the Nashville office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
• Participate in active situations to gain experience in information security.
• Monitor and analyze security events using various tools.
• Contribute to the development of security awareness programs.
• Assist IT Security and cross-functional teams on key projects.
• Apply security policies to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
