Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic Cyber Security Instructor to train entry and mid-level technicians through a full-time 15-week cycle. You will facilitate hands-on labs, manage a teaching assistant, and monitor student progress in a rigorous curriculum designed to prepare students for industry roles.

You will work closely with career coaches and support staff to ensure high pass rates and successful placement, while contributing to curriculum updates and real-time data entry in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge or experience in server management, hardware, software, networking, mobility, virtualization, project management and security.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Facilitation: conduct a full-time, 15-week cycle of cyber security training; 30–36 students; mix of lectures and hands-on labs.
• Manage and utilize a teaching assistant; maintain regular office hours.
• Provide students with ongoing feedback, conferencing, and performance appraisals; coordinate with career coaches.
• Lead student evaluations, progress meetings, attendance, and adherence to program policies.
• Contribute to curriculum updates and hands-on lab design; document progress in Salesforce.
