Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructional Associate in the Los Angeles area. This temp role supports lead instructors, assists learners, and helps run technical training sessions as part of the Tech Instruction Training Team.

You will help learners prepare for CompTIA exams and entry‑level SOC Analyst roles, with a focus on hands‑on labs and coursework. The position emphasizes asynchronous collaboration, strong communication, and adaptability in a start‑up style environment, with

Qualifications

• Graduate of Per Scholas; IT knowledge and exposure preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt.
• Team‑oriented, collaborative and adaptable.
• Interest in teaching/helping others learn and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Instructor during technical training sessions and labs.
• Support learners before, during, and after classes, including tutoring.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment, software, and network issues.
• Maintain class records and attendance in CanvasLMS.
• Review labs and assessments; provide feedback to learners.
• Support timekeeping, scheduling, and coordination with instructors.
