Per Scholas is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor to deliver hands-on cybersecurity training for adult learners, focusing on fundamentals, security operations, endpoint security, and ethical hacking. The role emphasizes an inclusive, high‑accountability learning environment and aligns with industry standards.

The instructor will monitor progress, guide learners toward CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications, and support course completion, capstones, and graduation with employer-ready

Qualifikationen

• Teaching cybersecurity concepts to adult learners with hands-on labs.
• Preparing learners for industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
• Knowledge of cloud security and at least one major cloud platform.

Aufgaben

• Lead lab-first instruction across cybersecurity fundamentals, security operations, endpoint security, and ethical hacking.
• Prepare learners for CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) and CISSP certifications.
• Monitor learner progress, provide timely feedback, and offer coaching to ensure course completion and certification readiness.
• Mentor cybersecurity projects from scoping to employer-ready demos.
• Inform curriculum, labs, and assessments with current threats and best practices.
• Guide portfolio projects or capstones to successful delivery.
• Support remote learning environments and LMS usage.
