Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor to deliver hands-on, lab-first training across cybersecurity fundamentals, security operations, endpoint security, and ethical hacking. You will prepare learners for industry certifications such as Security+ and CISSP while maintaining an inclusive, high-accountability learning environment.

Ideal candidates have relevant certifications, experience teaching adults, and practical expertise with labs, cloud security, and current tools.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching adult learners in technical subjects.
• Ability to prepare learners for cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience and certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead lab-first instruction across cybersecurity fundamentals, security operations, endpoint security, and ethical hacking.
• Prepare learners for certification exams (Security+, CISSP) and link concepts to real-world practices.
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback, office hours, and coaching for course completion.
