Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and teaching experience preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP and Security+ preferred.
• Experience teaching adult learners with hands-on cyber labs.
• Familiarity with cloud security and security operations.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into accessible learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead lab-first instruction across cybersecurity fundamentals, security operations, endpoint security, and ethical hacking; guide learners through hands-on scenarios.
• Prepare learners for industry-recognised certifications, including CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) and CISSP, linking concepts to real-world practices.
• Monitor learner progress, provide timely feedback, and offer coaching to support course completion and certification readiness.
• Mentor cybersecurity projects from scoping to demonstrations and employer-ready outcomes.
• Inform curriculum, labs, assessments, and certification alignment while staying current on threats and technologies.
• Demonstrate expertise across fundamentals, network security, IAM, and incident response.
• Teach ethical hacking concepts and endpoint security including hardening and remediation.
