Serco Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the U.S. Navy’s Team Submarine program at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. The role focuses on implementing Navy cyber requirements, RMF authorization, and security controls across multiple programs and systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a DoW Secret clearance eligibility, US citizenship, a relevant degree, and at least two years of IT security experience, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel.

Formación

• Must be able to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, computer science, MIS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with business IT systems.
• CompTIA Security+ is a plus.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 10% at times.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing SOPs and policies for Navy Cyber Security requirements.
• Interface with Team Sub CIO to ensure compliance with Navy Cyber Security requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of higher-level security requirements and relay to the program office.
• Prepare RMF accreditation packages and related artifacts (ATO/IT security) for applicable systems.
• Identify and implement security controls with system owners and test artifacts.
• Coordinate RMF activities and documentation across TEAM SUB portfolios.
• Ensure DON-specified cybersecurity information systems reflect accurate posture (eMASS, PBIS, DITPR-DON, etc.).
• Assist investigations of inadvertent electronic data spills and draft reports.
