ComTec Information Systems (IT) seeks a Cybersecurity Business Analyst in Houston, TX. The role focuses on leading requirements workshops for Cyber Security projects, documenting business requirements, and crafting AS-IS and TO-BE process flows.

You will work with developers to design compliant solutions and develop test plans for UAT. Applicants should have 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst in a Waterfall environment and 10+ years in enterprise IT, with strong communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as IT Business Analyst in Waterfall SDLC.
• Minimum 10 years in an enterprise IT environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead requirements workshops and document business requirements for Cyber Security projects.
• Develop and document requirements, to-be process flows and collaborate with development team to design solutions.
• Create wireframes or prototypes to visualize concepts and produce requirements for development.
• Document use cases, requirements, traceability matrix and test cases.
• Create process flowcharts and technical workflows using modeling techniques.
• Conduct business process/systems analysis through workshops.
• Document AS-IS and TO-BE processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technical solutions.
• Assist in developing business cases, project plans, and estimates.
• Support software design with technical and business stakeholders.
• Create Test plans and UAT test cases and criteria.
• Assist in Testing to ensure criteria are met.
• Maintain system function documentation.

Title: Cybersecurity Business Analyst

Location: Houston, TX (3 days a week onsite)

Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements gathering workshops and document business requirements for Cyber Security projects.
• Develop and document requirements, to-be process flows and work collaboratively with development team to design a solution that will meet the business requirements.
• Develop wireframes or prototypes based on business input/requirements to visualize concepts and to produce requirements for development.
• Document use cases, business/system/functional requirements, requirements traceability matrix and test cases.
• Creates process flowcharts, diagrams, drawings and other related documentation. Creates technical workflows using different modelling techniques.
• Conduct business process/systems analysis through requirements workshops.
• Analyze current business processes and document AS-IS business process flows.
• Work with business stakeholders in developing TO-BE business process flows.
• Participate in user requirement sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and technical solutions.
• Assist in developing business cases, project plans, and estimates.
• Assist in the Software Design. Work with technical experts and business stakeholders to iron out the details.
• Creating Test plans by incorporating business process flows and non-functional requirements
• Design test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by considering all possible scenarios.
• Assist in Testing. Provide the user acceptance criteria and work with developers and testers to ensure that all the criteria met.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system functions and use.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst in Waterfall SDLC environment
• Minimum 10 years of experience working in an enterprise-level IT environment
• Experience working on Cyber Security Projects
• Good understanding of all stages of Waterfall methodology Viz; requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes.
• Experience in developing Test plans and Manual Testing.
• Good experience with design and implementation of technical environments using various technologies and languages.
• Must have experience developing AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes, the ability to identify, capture, and translate business requirements.
• Basic programming language knowledge, understanding of databases.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation, and coordination skills.
