Position Overview

The role requires a hybrid work schedule with remote work permitted, though the candidate must be within a one‑hour commute of Harrisburg, PA, and able to come on‑site when requested. The position is a 12+ month contract with an option for extension, requiring work during Eastern Standard Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate requirement sessions with stakeholders to capture enhancements.
• Conduct workshops and use BPMN or other formal notation to create workflow diagrams and specifications.
• Produce deliverables and artifacts as defined by the project.
• Plan and facilitate additional project meetings as needed.
• Act as liaison between technical teams and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Escalate risks and issues appropriately and ensure quality assurance at every stage of development.
• Develop user, functional, business, and QoS requirements; create report specifications and requirements traceability matrix.
• Analyze data and perform statistical analysis to support requirement gathering.
• Collaborate with testing teams, provide SME input, and assist in testing when required.
• Assist in developing training documentation and conduct training sessions.
• Maintain documentation on the project SharePoint site.
• Complete weekly timesheet and status reporting by close of business each Friday.

Qualifications & Experience

• Seven (7+) years of experience working closely with stakeholders on technical initiatives.
• Four‑year college degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, SQL, and related design tools.
• Strong organizational and writing skills.
• Experience developing business, functional, user, QoS, and report specifications.
• Experience creating and maintaining requirements traceability matrices.
• Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.
• Experience evaluating and improving business processes and system efficiencies.
• Experience with statistical data analysis.
• IT Analyst certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) preferred but not mandatory.
