You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, shaping business solutions that deliver measurable value and support digital transformation efforts.

You will own your workstreams, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with product owners, project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the project

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis with BS/BA; 10+ years with MS/MA; 7+ years with Ph.D.
• Cybersecurity workforce certification AIM/IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CASP+)
• Must be US Citizen
• Active Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead elicitation, documentation, and analysis of complex business, functional, and system requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and cross-functional meetings to define needs and priorities.
• Conduct gap, impact, and process analyses to inform solution design.
• Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, wireframes, and decision models.
• Collaborate with product owners, project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and documenting processes.
• Support organizational change management with communication plans and training needs.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to BA standards and practices.

Peraton is seeking an experienced and strategic-thinking Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements analysis, process improvement, and solution alignment across business and technology initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to stakeholders, shaping business solutions that deliver measurable value. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead discovery efforts, define complex business needs, and ensure clear communication between stakeholders and technical teams. You'll take ownership of your workstreams, mentor junior analysts, and help drive initiatives that support digital transformation and strategic business outcomes.
