Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity strategies. You will guide secure network, cloud and data environments while aligning with regulatory and business goals.

The role requires deep security expertise, 10+ years in cybersecurity, and leadership experience. You will supervise incident response, risk assessments, and governance, partnering with IT, legal and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of security architecture across network, cloud, data and endpoints
• Experience with risk management, incident response, governance and regulatory requirements (CCPA, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, identity, data protection
• Oversee security tools integration (SIEM, IDS/IPS) and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop incident response plans and lead response activities
• Collaborate with executives to define risk posture and remediation roadmaps
