Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will lead security strategy, governance, and incident response, partnering with IT, legal, and compliance teams to protect the enterprise and enable business continuity.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity, strong knowledge of NIST/ISO frameworks, and experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments spanning network, cloud, data, and endpoints.
• Oversee security tooling integration (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management).
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business units to manage third‑party risk.
