Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to support Cyber & Analytics programs, focusing on network architecture, routing, switching, virtualization, load balancing, security, and performance tuning across on‑prem, cloud, and virtualized infrastructure.

The role requires Cisco expertise, NSX, F5 load balancers, and strong TCP/IP skills. A Top Secret/TS clearance is required, with DoD 8570 IAT II/III certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
Strong experience with Cisco routing, switching, and WAN/LAN technologies.
Experience with BGP/OSPF, route maps, and enterprise routing design.
Hands-on with VMware NSX or similar platforms and F5 load balancers.
Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; DoD 8570 IAT II/III certification or equivalent within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure for mission/training environments.
Support Cisco routing/switching across LAN/WAN; configure network virtualization (VMware NSX).
Manage F5 load balancing, VIPs, pools, health monitors, SSL profiles.
Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP; tune performance.
Collaborate with system, security, cloud, and app teams; support cyber training scenarios.
